Frequently Asked Questions

We believe in clear communication and honest timelines. Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often at our Murfreesboro showroom:

Do you charge by the slab or by the square foot?

We charge for countertops by the square foot, not by the full slab, ensuring you only pay for the material your project requires.

Do you handle the fabrication yourself?

Yes, we manage the entire process from start to finish. We provide in-house fabrication and professional installation to maintain high quality standards.

How long will my project take?

Countertop projects feature our signature 3–5 day turnaround from the start of fabrication to final installation. Because the cabinetry process involves variable delivery times for materials, we will provide a specific expected timeline once you have chosen your cabinets.

Do I need to hire a separate plumber?

Yes, while we fabricate and install your surfaces and can provide sinks if required, clients must seek outside professional plumbing services for final hookups.

Do you offer kitchen and bathroom remodeling services?

Our development division performs renovations for bathrooms, kitchens, and more. They operate separately from the other divisions and can be reached directly at (615) 400-8495.

What is the difference between Granite, Quartz, and Marble?

Granite is a 100% natural stone known for its unique, speckled patterns. It is incredibly durable and heat-resistant, but requires sealing about once a year to prevent stains.

Quartz is an engineered (man-made) stone that is virtually non-porous. It never needs to be sealed and is highly stain-resistant, making it the most low-maintenance option for busy kitchens.

Marble is a luxury natural stone famous for its elegant veining. Because it is softer and porous, it requires extra care to prevent scratching and chemical “etching” from acidic foods like lemon juice or vinegar.

How do I clean different types of stone countertops?

Daily Cleaning (All Stones): For Granite, Quartz, and Marble, mild soap and warm water is always best. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, as they can strip away sealers and dull the stone’s finish over time.

Stubborn Stains (Like Wine): Always wipe up spills as fast as possible to prevent them from soaking into the surface.

Deep Cleaning Granite: For tougher grease or grime on granite, we recommend using a specialized product like Stone Care.

Deep Cleaning Marble: Because marble is highly sensitive, we recommend using a dedicated Marble Cleaner to safely lift spots without damaging the delicate finish.
